A summer evening, music, beautiful weather, food and friends who share the same passion. It was everything one can ask for. I took out this beautiful light silk.
lighthouse by the ocean, right on a peninsula cannot go in ( Fenced), Very narrow driveway, Looks like a private road, Only Senior citizens and handicapped parking allowed to drive, others park on the main road and walk down.
Security on the entry to the walkway, We went on Tuesday evening and there was no-one to check. we still parked on the main road and walked down. Heard security starts at 9 AM.
You could see sunrise and sunset both from here. It was a cloudy day but it was still worth the walk. The waves crashing on the rock. There is place to sit on the stone wall and watch the waves, enjoy the sound and just be there. Away from the craziness of the world.

Plenty of parking down the road on Watch Hill downtown area. a 10 mins walk up the hill for the light house.
Go on weekday evening for a beautiful sunset view I heard.
A State Park, free parking after 4 PM. Huge parking lot, South facing beach so you can enjoy the sunset sideways. Not on the water
Take your trash with you
Miles long sandy beach, paved area along dune for walking large shells - good for kids.
The sand is clean, warm water but string and nice waves. be careful with young kids, they can be strong. Lifeguards on duty till 5.30-6 PM
Restrooms are not the best but manageable
watch for tide forecasts! high tide it is all rocks, low tide soft sand. Camp ground near by
Gooseberry island beach close by if you want to watch the sunset on the water.
also the tiny bridge to Gooseberry island is perfect for sunrise and sunset water both side.
But remember the gate get closed by 8 PM
